Ship launching

When the ship was finished, it would be berthed in a shelter by the side of Qing An temple. 2 weeks prior to festival, the committee would hold a ceremony to launch the ship. Firstly the committee would bring a big bucket of water from Zeng Wun river, pour half of water around the ship, then drag the ship out of shelter and put the anchor in bucket, which means the ship was anchored in river and ready to sail.
